Brian was the magical element in the Stones. Following his lead the band became huge to the point
where they could rightfully claim to be
on a par with the mighty Beatles.
After he was replaced
the Stones began to slide towards mediocrity.
Bands like The Who and Led ZeppeL
began to steal their thunder.
Mick Taylor was great but
even he left feelling
underappreciated.
The Stones output after 1974 got stale.
Refried Berry licks, lame disco and
ill advised new wave.
Mick and Keef should be ashamed.
