Everest summit day

• Is very difficult but it isn't impossible. 

   

• Obviously it's much harder to pave the way into the unknown for others. 

  There were no established routes, the risks were not understood that well, climbers had poor equipment by today's standards, they had 

  no satellite weather forecasts and no commercial 

  companies that do all the logistics for you, no Sherpas 

  to fix the ropes... I mean, come on... 

  did you honestly mean that question? 

   

  _ Even now with all that stuff in place it's quite an achievement.

• Worst part of the climb right there...

   

  _Lost 2 of my team. Not dead just 

  sprained ankle and too tired to go on.

   

• look at the numbers of people at the hillary step, this is how commercial is everest is now!, jumaring up fixed lines put in a by a sherpa team isnt truly climbing it however, neither is leaving people to die for vanity , sir edmund hillarys words.

   

• Climbing it without a spacesuit! 

   

• Climbing that mountain itself should be fairly easy compared to everest, because it is very, very 

  flat (average incline of about 5 degrees) and 

  the gravity on mars is only about 1/3 that 

  on Earth. Getting there however 

  will pose a much bigger problem
