Carlsen v Anand 2013 World Chess Championship Game One
Carlsen versus Anand 2013 World Chess Championship
Game One

Well there were no chess computers or databases back then and remember Fischer blundered away game 1.

Anand forced the draw, if he chose to play that way against
even club players then they could easily have drawn,
 I guess
he would deviate though. It only proves that he's scared
of Carlsen.
He had a good advantage in that game.

Both of these gentlemen are so good(obviously) and so prepared that
even one inaccuracy would result in a loss.  I expect to see lots of draws,
no shame in that.  They're playing for money, and glory, NOT for the audience.

Actually Carlsen said "It's a long tournament, no damage done".
He kept using the wrong word during the press conference.
A labsus indicating his preference for this format instead of matches?

It's rather experience.
The biggest edge of Carlsen is his ability to adapt.

Thanks for making light of the slow somewhat disappointing
start of the series.  Hopefully tomorrow Carlsen takes no prisoners! ;-)
