gent who turned spy for the Russians. Harold Adrian Russell Philby, known to his

Muscovite companions as Comrade Kim, defected to the Soviet Union in 1963,

working as a British affairs consultant until his death in the late 1980s.

He was buried with the military honours normally reserved for a KGB agent.
